Injection Molded Bells

APP has a complete line of HDPE bells designed for the Corrugated pipe industry.  With over 31 different variations in bell configurations, these HDPE bells will fit almost any corrugated pipe in the North American market. 

Injection molded bells have high tolerances which ensures a consistent fit.

Injection molded bells are ideally suited for fabricated fittings and short length of irregular lengths of pipe.


Flange Welding

APP injection molded bells are designed to utilize flange welding technology.  Flange welding technology is ideally suited for high production rates, structural integrity and fusion repeatability.  What makes this technology unique is that it is designed to weld to the HDPE wall inside a pipe corrugation.  This material is structurally designed for loads and is shielded from ultraviolet radiation, therefore oxidation of the surface is not an issue.  Welding is accomplished by cutting away the corrugation on the end needing a bell and welding directly to the corrugation sidewall.  A detailed drawing of the weld is shown below:
